Care Designed Around You
LPS offers evidence-based clinical assessment and treatment for children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a wide range of psychological concerns. Clinical services are individualized, confidential, and focused on improving psychological functioning, emotional regulation, and quality of life.
Clinical services include:
Psychological and intellectual assessments provide a comprehensive understanding of an individual’s cognitive, emotional, behavioral, academic, and personality functioning. Evaluations may assess areas such as intelligence, attention and executive functioning, learning difficulties, memory, emotional functioning, behavioral regulation, adaptive skills, personality structure, and social-emotional development. Assessments are tailored to the referral question and may be conducted for children, adolescents, or adults in clinical, educational or, occupational contexts. Findings are integrated into a detailed report that includes diagnostic impressions, individualized recommendations, and, when appropriate, treatment, academic, or workplace accommodations.
Individual therapy provides a collaborative, evidence-based space to address emotional, behavioral, interpersonal, and psychological concerns. Treatment is tailored to each individual’s needs and may focus on anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, emotion regulation, relationship difficulties, life transitions, self-esteem, behavioral challenges, or personality-related concerns. Therapy integrates approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-focused interventions, mindfulness-based strategies, and insight-oriented techniques to support meaningful and lasting change. The therapeutic process emphasizes practical skill development, self-understanding, resilience, and improved overall functioning in daily life, relationships, work, and school.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an evidence-based treatment designed to help individuals process and recover from traumatic experiences, distressing memories, anxiety, and other emotionally overwhelming events. EMDR uses structured protocols and bilateral stimulation to support the brain’s natural information-processing system, helping reduce the emotional intensity associated with traumatic or maladaptively stored experiences. EMDR may be beneficial for individuals experiencing trauma-related symptoms, anxiety, panic, grief, negative self-beliefs, chronic stress, or difficulties related to past experiences that continue to affect current functioning. Treatment is individualized and integrated within a broader therapeutic framework focused on emotional regulation, resilience, and long-term psychological well-being.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based treatment designed to help individuals who experience significant emotional dysregulation, impulsivity, interpersonal difficulties, self-destructive behaviors, chronic distress, or difficulty managing intense emotions. DBT combines acceptance-based and change-oriented strategies to improve emotional stability, coping, and overall functioning. Treatment includes individual therapy, group skills training, and 24/7 access to live skills coaching.
DBT can be effective for individuals struggling with mood instability, self-harm, trauma-related symptoms, personality-related difficulties, chronic anxiety, and high-conflict relationships, while promoting greater resilience, behavioral control, and quality of life.
